About the Program
Our program will empower those that build the future. The program includes:
At least three hours of individual mentorship over three months
Group networking and education opportunities
You will be partnered with a regional business leader. We will do our best to match you with a mentor that exemplifies the support you request. Mentorship is open to anyone – NJTC members and nonmembers, early career through late career, founders and employees. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

The community needs your help! It’ll be a small investment for you (and we’ll support you), with an outsized impact on the mentee. We’re looking for all kinds of business leaders because our community needs a diverse spectrum of support.

Details & Requirements
Mentee Requirements
Participate in at least three hours of mentoring (virtual or in person) over the quarter.
Participate in at least one mentor session per month over the three-month program duration.
Participate in at least one group networking/educational/mentoring event and attend at least two webinar events.
Mentees will notify mentors of any potential conflict of interests.
Sign NDAs and confidentiality agreements with their mentors as appropriate.
Sign a “charter” outlining roles, responsibilities, and expectations with both their mentor and NJTC.
Share their experiences (highs, lows, etc.) during and after the cohort session and allow relevant information to be shared publicly by NJTC.
Allow their profiles/story to be shared publicly by NJTC.
Mentees will not disparage NJTC or mentor.
Mentor Requirements
Commit to at least three hours of mentoring (virtual or in person) over the quarter.
Commit to providing at least one mentor session per month over the three-month program duration.
Mentors could decide to continue to mentor the mentee at the conclusion of the cohort.
Commit to participating in at least one in-person group networking/educational/mentoring event (e.g., give a talk to the group, etc.) or an online group webinar as a speaker.
Participate in at least two sequential cohorts.
The minimum number of mentees a mentor will have is one. However, the mentor may choose to have more than one mentee per cohort session.
Provide sound mentoring and avoid any conflict of interests.
Sign NDAs and confidentiality agreements with their mentees as appropriate.
Mentors will have the ability to invest in (if there is not a conflict of interest) mentee’s organizations.
Sign a “charter” outlining roles, responsibilities, and expectations with both the mentee and NJTC.
Share their experiences (highs, lows, etc.) during and after the cohort session and allow relevant information to be shared publicly by NJTC.
Allow their profiles/story to be shared publicly by NJTC.
