Tech Elevator is an intensive in-person and online education provider helping individuals and companies acquire in-demand technology skills for the modern workforce. Through our part-time and full-time coding bootcamps, we teach students from diverse backgrounds to become software developers while helping them build necessary career readiness skills and career connections to land a meaningful job. Our results speak to our focus on quality and on student success which has earned us a leading national bootcamp position based on the job placement rate (90%!) of our grads.
What are the top reasons you joined TechUnited? How can you help other members, and how can other members help you?
Our membership has already been an incredible asset in making connections in the local tech community. We are looking to partner with companies that are interested in hiring Junior Software developers, as well as serving on interview panels and career coaching. We are also actively hiring and will need to fill positions for our January 2023 campus launch!
What is that one piece of advice you would share with other entrepreneurship enthusiasts in the community?
Do not be afraid to ask for help and reach out to your network for feedback and advice. One conversation typically leads to another, and the network building begins!
What’s your go-to conversation starter or #1 fun fact about your company or career?
Amplifying underrepresented populations’ access to tech education is not only a belief at Tech Elevator, but a priority. We initiated our Represent Tech Scholarship to advance diversity in tech. With this scholarship, Tech Elevator has committed over $1M to provide access to underrepresented groups with a quality tech education and a future in the world of tech. Since the scholarship was created in summer 2020, Tech Elevator and its partners have awarded over 90 scholarships equaling more than $1M.
What’s your favorite Jersey bite or go-to restaurant?
My team really enjoyed our time at City Bistro in Jersey City while we were on our market visit!
