Helping businesses bring the indoor store experience outdoors or into the home so that customers can shop in an environment that they feel most comfortable.
EFFICIENCY & SAFETY
Digitally enabling businesses with new tools to help them serve customers faster, more efficiently and more safely.
Amplifying and bringing to life the shopping experience in new ways that surprise and delight customers, add new revenue streams, or reach new customers.
- Your solution must address at least one Impact Challenge Focus (above)
- Preference is given to US-incorporated businesses.
- Your solution must be available to install or implement in a timely manner in one or more of the participants: SOHO Flower & Garden, Corporate Realty, the Hoboken Public Library, Joey No Nuts, & Elysian Cafe.
- Company must have a market-validated product.

The 5G Business Impact Challenge Program
In September 2020, five businesses in Hoboken will activate 5G Ultra Wideband Internet & 5G mobile devices, provided by the TechUnited Smart Cities Alliance’s 5G Business Impact Program, in coordination with founding sponsor, Verizon’s 5G Labs. These businesses will also implement new retail technology from emerging growth companies & startups. This program will run through December 31, 2020 and is designed to leverage technology to support small businesses and showcase innovation.
