Challenge Statements


Reduce Electricity & Gas Usage
Create a product or service that allows residential, low-income or small business users to monitor and reduce their electricity or gas usage.


Drive Energy Efficiency
Create a product or service that increases the uptake of utility-provided energy efficiency products and services to hard-to-reach low-income residential, as well as small business customers.


Address Workforce Development
Create an innovative approach to recruiting and training the new workforce that will be needed to execute the clean energy future.
Details & Requirements
- Solution must address at least one Challenge Statement (above)
- While not required, scores are weighted to give preference to companies based in NJ that create jobs in NJ. Companies everywhere are encouraged to apply
- Company must be under $2M in annual revenue
- Applications close August 31, 2020
